By car
Birmingham has direct links with the M1, M5, M6, M40 and M42. The ICC is clearly signposted on all the main motorways leading into Birmingham. Follow the signs for the International Convention Centre and National Indoor Arena using the City Centre lanes. Do not follow signs for the NEC.

If you are using a satellite navigation system, please enter the postcode B1 2AA to pinpoint us. Please be aware that the Sat Nav system will not direct you into The NIA car parks. Please follow the clearly signposted directions once in the vicinity of the venue.

The nearest railway station to the ICC is Birmingham New Street which is within easy walking distance. The route is clearly signposted.

Car Parking - There are four car parks located at The NIA.
North - King Edward's Road (open 24 hours)
South - Sheepcote Street (open 0645 - 1900, Monday - Friday, extended for events)
West - St Vincent Street (open for events only)
Community Hall - Junction of King Edward's Road and Sheepcote Street (open 0700 - 0000)

Parking Charges

Pay and Display tickets may be purchased from the machines situated on each level. An appropriate ticket must be displayed inside windscreen and the expiry date and time must be clearly visible from the outside.

Community Hall users and short stay customers can park in North Car Park Level 1 for up to 2 hours for just £1, a cost of 50p per hour. Ticket machines will accept 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins and several also accept payment by debit/credit card. They do not give change but will accept overpayments. For your assistance, change machines are permanently located near the entrances of both North Car Park and South Car Park. All charges are inclusive of VAT and apply 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Parking for Blue Badge holders

Blue Badge holders are exempt from all charges, provided the Blue Badge is clearly displayed. Special designated bays have been marked out on Level 11 of South car park that give direct access to The NIA at Concourse level and bays have been reserved on Level 9 North which give ground floor access to the Arena
